- Mission Statement The Grand Prix is dedicated to supporting, advancing and showcasing the equestrian community of the Southwest through the development of a world-class show-jumping event.
We believe that those who invest in the Grand Prix de Santa Fe should be well-represented at the event, as well as supported and promoted year-round by all who serve as ambassadors for the Grand Prix de Santa Fe, including board and advisory board members, fellow sponsors, patrons and advertisers, and our exhibitors.
The Grand Prix de Santa Fe donates 100% of its net proceeds from fundraising and educational events to equestrian and social service charities in New Mexico.
- Non-Profit 501(c) 3 corporation managed by a Board of Directors since May 2006
- Proceeds donated to New Mexico non-profit corporations during the first six years of operation totaled $145,000
- Operates a four day Class “A” Grand Prix Horse Show annually in the spring
- Funded by Sponsors, Advertisers, Vendors and Ticket Sales
- Economic Impact on the Santa Fe Community is estimated at $800,000 to $1,000,000 annually. 88% of our competitors and 28% of Gala and VIP ticket buyers travel to Santa Fe from outside of New Mexico, bringing valued business to our hospitality industry.
- Prize money for exhibitors has increased from $37,000 in 2004 to over $65,000 in 2009.
- General Admission is free to all horse horse and rider events.
